How long have you been at Sixtwo?
It will be a year in April
What did you do before joining Sixtwo?
I was an Account Manager for a data communications agency
To you, what is a good website/brand?
A good website has to be is a website that simply works and is easy to use. There isn’t much point to a website that looks amazing if users don’t know how to navigate it. As for branding, I believe it’s important to understand what makes you different to competitors while staying true to your values and your team’s passions.
What makes you passionate about working at Sixtwo?
Working with a team who really care about the work they produce and helping each other out. We really do want our clients to do well, and it is amazing to be part of a team who all strive for success and quality.
What would be your biggest piece of advice to anyone looking for a new website?
Really ask yourself what you want your website to do. Is it a lead generation tool? A portfolio to showcase your work? Or a shop (e-commerce)? Once you understand what you need from your website the brief will write itself and the project won’t feel overwhelming.
What’s your favourite thing to do?
Being busy! I can’t sit still so at work I like to get stuck into several projects and tasks. Outside of work I’m normally busying myself with a course, craft, book or spending time with friends and family.
What’s your favourite part of the web design/project process?
I like the strategic part when scoping a project. It’s nice to see the team get excited when scoping a project and then projecting their enthusiasm on to the client.
