For another instalment of our ‘Meet The Team’ series, we sat down for a cuppa with our project manager Lisa and discussed a range of interesting topics.
Lisa discusses her career and role here at Sixtwo, insights into project management and shares advice for anyone starting out in the industry.
How long have you been at Sixtwo? I joined Sixtwo in April last year, which was an exciting time with the rebrand and revamp of our services. Sixtwo have been through some amazing changes since then and it’s been great being involved.
To you, what is a good website/brand? A good website to me is one which flows well with great user experience especially on mobile as I search a lot this way. I like sites that are bold and eye catching and makes it easy for me to buy from! I love beautiful photography.
Are there any trends you can predict for the future?What trends can you predict will be big in 2023? As our websites evolve, I can see a big advance with using parallax scrolling. Moving imagery on a website creates more dynamic effects and keep users engaged.
How did you get into project management? Project Management kind of found me – I love a list and to be organised, can’t stand procrastination so figured this role suits me. I love to get things done. Working on projects means you see something through from start to finish which is satisfying.
What would be your biggest piece of advice to anyone looking for a new website? Make sure you work with a team that understands your business and has great design ideas to bring your business to life. Research what websites are out there at the moment, especially your competitors. Do your homework.
What’s your favourite thing about working at Sixtwo? No two days are the same and I love the team I work with.
What’s your favourite part of the web design/project process? I have two favourite parts of a project – showing the client their new site for the first time and when the site launches. To see all our hard work come together and a happy client.
